Bi-color Cables body (blocking)
Being blocked. It looks far more like an actual piece of clothing now.
I haven't sewn up the hem facing, and it still looks a little oogly down there but I will fix that when it is dry.

Ah! It makes much more sense now. Is it going to have closures up the front or will it be front-seamed?
And is it my imagination or did you block it by tacking it to your floor?
I did indeed block it by pinning it to my floor. I know that it is probably not the best thing to do, but I opened some windows, left the ceiling fan running on high, and it works beautifully (and i have lots of space).
It is going to have buttons up the front, all cardigan-style.
Oh, I wasn't criticizing - I just wondered whether you had a carpeted wall or table or something. I'm guessing it's no damper than it would be if you put it on a towel.
Does it have buttonholes or are you attaching frogs or something? I'm curious because I made a cardigan once and it has to be tied shut. (It's also enormous, as is the only other sweater I've made. My gauge is always to the small end! I don't understand!)
